Mardev Developments has entered a partnership agreement with Hilton to introduce Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed, Invest-Gate reports.
Zohdy Zahran, Chairman of Mardev Developments, stated that Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed will form part of a mixed-use development strategically positioned near lifestyle and retail establishments. Slated for a 2028 unveiling, this property will offer guests contemporary and cost-effective lodging options in West Cairo. Conveniently situated near the Sphinx International Airport, visitors will enjoy seamless access to the historical wonders of Giza and Cairo.
Zahran expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Hilton to bring the Hilton Garden Inn brand to New Zayed, ensuring visitors access to spacious modern accommodations and thoughtful amenities. Recognizing Hilton’s enduring presence in Egypt, Zahran is confident that this partnership will uphold the renowned service standards associated with the hospitality giant.
Additionally, Mardev Developments is launching Hilton Garden Inn within New Zayed City in alliance with Hilton, emphasizing its proximity to diverse shopping outlets and the advantageous location near Sphinx International Airport. This hotel will grant guests easy entry to significant historical sites in Cairo and Giza, all while offering contemporary hospitality features at competitive rates across its 4-acre expanse.
Zohdy Zahran elaborated on how Hilton Garden Inn fits within the Menorca Zayed project, covering 40.5 acres and featuring various villas, thereby transforming the area into a burgeoning urban hub known as Green October. The company secured approval to establish a hotel within the project under Ministerial Resolution No. 606, pioneering these efforts in New Zayed.
Looking ahead, Mardev Development aims to commence construction on the project by 2025, entrusting design responsibilities to Mohamed Hafez’s office, while oversight of implementation and construction falls under Moharam Bakhoum’s purview.
Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development for Middle East & Africa at Hilton, expressed enthusiasm about Cairo’s burgeoning hotel development opportunities, outlining plans to expand the company’s Egyptian portfolio to over 30 hotels in the near future. Khneisser commended the collaboration with Mardev Developments to introduce Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed, highlighting the district’s vibrancy with new residential and commercial ventures and the commitment to providing upscale and dependable accommodations in West Cairo.
