Marota Developments wins Three ISO Certificates for Mastro New Capital

Marota Developments announces obtaining three new ISO certificates for its Mastro project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to comply with the international standards, Invest-Gate reports.

Mohamed Elsherif, Head of marketing at Marota Developments, comments that the company is the first in the local real estate market and the NAC to obtain three new ISO certificates.

Elsheri further elaborates that the first certificate is the ISO 45001 to conform to international standards of occupational safety and health management system for the project site. The main objective of the ISO 45001 standard is to increase safety rates in the workplace, minimize safety problems, eliminate risks, demonstrate the company’s responsibility in this regard as well as maintain employee motivation who are the most valuable assets of the organization.

Additionally, he states that the company also obtained the ISO10002 to match standards of quality management and customer satisfaction. The goal of the ISO 10002 standard is to achieve the operational efficiency of the project, adopt a customer-focused approach, and involve employees in training on customer service.

The CEO explains that integration of the ISO10002 standard with the ISO 9001 standard to raise efficiency and effectiveness, follow-up and continuously improve the process of dealing with complaints to satisfy customers.

Elsherif further discloses that the company obtained a third certificate, ISO 9001, to match the standards of quality management systems in the real estate development and investment sector. This certificate is related to the application of quality standards in all operations and activities to raise the institution’s ability to provide services and products of high quality.

“Marota Developments seeks to offer a real estate product following the highest international standards to maximize investment opportunities and achieve the highest returns for customers and the company, especially in light of the fierce competition in the New Capital”, Elsherif says.

Mastro is a commercial mall located in the NAC’s Downtown, spanning over 5,250 sqm, with investments of about EGP 800 mn. It is situated in the promenade and entertainment area directly in front of Al Masa Hotel and near the Green River.

Additionally, Marota has contracted with Sabbour Consulting office to supervise the construction of the Mastro project, Raef Fahmy as a general consultant, Benaa Consulting Group as construction designer, and Hany Tawfik Consulting Office (HTCO) as electromechanics designer.

It’s noteworthy that Marota Developments is a partnership between Egyptian businessman Tarek Khalil and Syrian businessman Ayman Al-Ghafir.
