Eng. Hazem Salama, Chairman of Marquee Developments, confirmed that the Egyptian market achieved an unprecedented boom in both the volume and value of sales in the sector during 2024, witnessing exceptional performance across all companies, Invest-Gate reports.

This confirms that the sector is highly attractive to both local and foreign investments.

Salama pointed out that the decision to launch Marquee Developments at this time validates his vision of the market situation and reinforces the company’s expansion plans in Egypt with distinct and diverse projects, all details of which will be announced during the first quarter of 2025.

The company has begun by launching its first real estate project, “Shababeek,” a fully serviced residential community covering an area of 15 feddans with investments exceeding EGP 6 bn.

Additionally, the company is preparing to launch other projects in 2025 by exploring several unique opportunities in East Cairo, in line with its expansion plan.

Eng. Ashraf Sobhi, Vice Chairman of Marquee Developments, added that the company was established with joint Egyptian-European investments to develop a number of projects that offer a different architectural concept, contributing to the establishment of a new generation of modern and sustainable buildings.

He emphasized the company’s commitment to building these projects in selected areas to ensure the highest return on investment for both the company and its clients.

Sobhi further elaborated that the “Shababeek” project is unique, as great attention was paid to the smallest details, starting with the selection of its distinctive location. The project is situated in the Fifth Settlement on the Northern 90th, specifically in the North House area, which is an extension of the Beit Al Watan area.
