Matrouh Witnesses Several Potable Water and Sanitation Projects

Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, discloses that 10 potable water and sanitation projects are being implemented in Matrouh Governorate by the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage (NOPWASD), Invest-Gate reports.

Additionally, El Gazzar indicates that several desalination plants are complete in Sidi Abdel Rahman, El Dabaa, and Sidi Barani.

For his part, Ehab Khedr, head of the NOPWASD, states that an integrated sanitation project is underway at a cost of EGP 320 mn. Additionally, the ministerial statement points out that a number of sewage projects are underway in Marsa Matrouh, El Nejila, Sidi Barani, El Salloum, and El Alamein, at a cost of about EGP 1.1 bn.
