Memaar Al Morshedy celebrated on May 27 the Guinness World Records Official Attempt for its largest residential building in the world, Skyline, Invest-Gate reports.

Skyline is strategically located in the heart of Kattameya, across a total area of 200,000 square meters, promising to offer luxury living, convenience, and a unique lifestyle that can only be experienced there, according to the company’s press release.

“Our aim was not to achieve the Guinness World Records Official attempt Title with this project, but instead, to bring to Egypt a unique living experience, one worthy of their investment,” Founder and Owner of Memaar Al Morshedy Mohamed Morshedy was quoted as saying.

The celebration came during an ultrachic, exclusive Sohour held in the presence of Al Morshedy, the company’s CEO Hassan Morshedy, as well as, celebrity architect Mohamed Hadid, representatives from the Guinness World Records, Egypt’s affluent business personalities, and several media people.

Arab superstar Amr Diab and electronic dance music composer Hisham Kharma entertained guests as they enjoyed another remarkable experience synonymous with the Memaar Al Morshedy brand name.

At Skyline, Memaar Al Morshedy strives to develop lifestyle and not concrete blocks. Dining, entertainment, leisure, and multiple shopping outlets will all be part of this record-breaking project. It will have open spaces, refreshing landscapes, and an inclusive safe environment were key elements when dreaming up the mega-project, according to the statement.

Al Morshedy added, “Because this is to-date the world’s largest residential building, we wanted to ensure a quality of excellence and luxury that holds that title for decades to come. We partnered with VDP Design studios in Barcelona, Egyptian architect Raef Fahmy, as well as, the renowned international architectural enigma Eng. Mohamed Hadid to add the final strokes, to blueprint Skyline.”

Guests were welcomed by Memaar Al Morshedy’s visionary Mohamed Morshedy, who shared the aspirations of the real estate developer that has stood strong over the past three decades.
