Ahmed Sabry, the CEO and Managing Director of Menaville, has announced the upcoming inauguration of a new hotel in Luxor, Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
With a total capacity of 178 rooms, it will be a 4-star establishment, marking a pivotal move within the company’s expansion strategy. This new hotel, named “The Temple,” is set to grace the landscape of Al Awameya Island. Its launch aims to meet the anticipated demand for accommodations in Luxor during the 2023 winter season.
Moreover, Luxor stands out significantly in Egypt’s tourism dossier, given its strategic importance and central location in southern Egypt. Sabry emphasized the robust governmental efforts reassuring tourists about visiting and enjoying Egypt during the winter season.
Furthermore, designed architecturally and engineered to harmonize with its surroundings, the hotel’s name was carefully chosen to resonate with its location and ambiance. A striking feature is that over 70% of the hotel’s rooms will have a direct view of the Nile. Additionally, plans are underway to link the hotel to a tourist complex reaching Aswan. Sabry highlighted that Luxor holds considerable significance in cultural tourism.
Despite Luxor’s local, regional, and global importance, there’s a shortage of available hotels, particularly in the 4 and 5-star category. Luxor currently houses about 25 hotels in this category while hosting around 150 tourist ships—a number deemed insufficient, prompting the need for more hotels in the governorate.
Also, Sabry unveiled the company’s plan to commence the construction of an extension to the Menaville Resort in Safaga by early 2024. With an additional 250 rooms, this extension will bring the total capacity of the resort to 550 rooms, aligning with the increasing booking demand.
Notably, Sabry emphasized that all Egyptian tourist destinations are entirely safe and distant from the events occurring in neighboring regions.
