Messi, who signed a lucrative deal with David Beckham’s Inter Miami Major League Soccer franchise, purchased a $10.75 mn estate in Fort Lauderdale after initially residing in a $9 mn apartment near the “golden beach.”
Bet-David, an American entrepreneur, author, and financial adviser, shares a gated community at Bay Colony with Messi.
According to Bet-David, the presence of Messi in the neighborhood has caused property prices to soar, with his own house gaining $25 mn in equity. The community offers safety and exclusivity, attracting interest from prospective buyers and visitors who now flock to view the houses.
Messi’s new mansion, located just off the beachfront and a short drive from Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium, sits on the canals of South Florida. It features 10 bedrooms, a spa room, two boat docks, a swimming pool, and offers picturesque views of the Fort Lauderdale skyline.
