MG Developments, developer of Blue Blue Resort El Sokhna, has announced the launch of the first permanent kitesurfing center in Ain Sokhna, following the period of its experimental operation, Invest-Gate reports.

“The center’s pilot operation has begun last summer and it is now fully operating in a way that allows customers to enjoy their annual vacation within Blue Blue resort,” Karim El-Khashab, head of Kitesurfing Sports Center, said in a statement on May 11.

The center is one of a range of entertainment and sports services at Blue Blue resort, which were implemented with investments estimated at EGP 2 bn.

The resort is extending over an area of 120,000 square meters, featuring a variety of chalets with different sizes to suit all needs, with the beach stretching over 300 meters long.

Aya Al Shenawy, head of development at MG Developments said, “The Kitesurfing Sports Center is the first in Ain Sokhna and is considered the first to be developed by the company.”

Blue Blue resort plans during the coming period to sponsor a number of kitesurfing competitions and receive players and fans from all over the world to boost and promote the country’s tourism, according to Mohamed Abdel Mordy, commercial director at MG Developments.
