MIG Participates as Major Sponsor in International Health Tourism Conference in Egypt

Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Maxim Investment Group (MIG) has announced its sponsorship of the International Conference on Medical Tourism in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

The conference took place at the Diamond Hotel in the new administrative capital with the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, the Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad Soha Gendi, Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, on March 2-3, 2024.

Moreover, the event aimed to discuss ways to boost medical and therapeutic tourism, along with the involvement of various sectors and support mechanisms from different entities.

Furthermore, several memoranda of understanding were signed with international companies and leading doctors with global expertise in various fields, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting medical and therapeutic tourism in alignment with the state’s 2030 development strategy.

Also, the conference served as a significant opportunity to shed light on the latest developments in medical tourism, facilitating knowledge exchange among participating countries. Mohamed Karrar, MIG Chairman, highlighted the strategic importance of such participation in enhancing collaboration between companies, particularly with the notable presence of international medical insurance and therapeutic tourism figures as keynote speakers.

Expressing delight in Maxim’s participation, Mohamed Samir, CEO at MIG, emphasized the company’s goal of becoming a diverse investment group capable of supporting the state’s efforts in improving healthcare services through medical tourism projects and offering the best possible services.
