Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities hold a meeting to follow up on tourism development plans and preparations for the Climate Change conference (COP 27), Invest- Gate reports.

Also, El Gazzar reviews the statement of tourist lands with the Tourism Development Authority to push implementation rates and speed up the completion of projects which serve development plans in the presence of the two Ministries’ Officials.

“a number of files are discussed and recommendations are developed to implement these directives within the framework of the political leadership’s directives to facilitate tourism investors to complete their projects, especially the faltering ones,” El Gazzar says.

During the meeting, the two ministers agreed to take a number of coordination measures with the concerned authorities to ensure the readiness of Sharm El-Sheikh to receive the delegations participating the COP 27.

The Minister of Housing stresses that there is a great interest from the political leadership in advancing development rates, providing investment opportunities, and maximizing the benefit of the lands of the Red and Mediterranean coasts, where Egypt has beaches extending for hundreds of kilometers.

For his part, Al Anani discusses The Great Transfiguration project in Saint Catherine in Sinai, in terms of highlighting the historical and spiritual value of the project globally after its implementation, besides preparing for a global conference to raise awareness and promote Saint Catherine and its global importance in implementation of the political leadership’s directives.
