Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, says that the ministry provides all needed facilities and safe investment opportunities for Egyptians living abroad, Invest-Gate reports.
El-Gazzar explains that eight phases of Bait Al-Watan project were rolled out to Egyptians abroad so far. The previous seven phases included around 18,000 residential plots for individuals and around 50 plots with various service activities. Additionally, the ministry offered thousands of housing units in Madinaty and Al Rehab projects, besides residential projects for middle-income and low-income people in many new cities.
Furthermore, El Gazzar indicates that the eighth phase of Bait Al-Watan for Egyptians abroad offers 6,444 residential plots, 10,014 plots for cemeteries, 198 plots with mixed activity, 2,709 luxurious housing units, 468 units for medium housing and over-medium housing, 95 commercial and administrative units, and 57 villas.
For her part, Soha Gendy, Minister of Emigration, clarifies that there are suggestions to provide a group of incentives to Egyptians abroad and provide them with many safe investment opportunities. Moreover, there is cooperation with the Ministry of Communications to launch an electronic application for Egyptians abroad, which enables them to know about investment opportunities.
In addition, El Gazzar welcomed the idea of launching an electronic application for Egyptians abroad and this application will include a feature for Bait Al-Watan for Egyptians abroad, the website of the New Urban Communities Authority, and the offered investment opportunities.
