Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities announced in a press release its plan to launch a tender for land plots in New Cairo, the category of land offered will be Distinctive. The highest category of land offered by the state, Invest Gate reported.
A total of 8,814 plots are being offered around the best districts of New Cairo, 1,823 of which have already been offered in March 2016 through the tendering system, and the remaining 6,991 distinctive plots will be offered around the six best areas in the district, according to the ministry.
The 6,991 plots are distributed over six areas as follows: The first area lies 300 meter south to the Cairo-Suez Desert Road, and directly overlooks Road 90. The area is also located near the Helio Park Residence project, which is owned by Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development, Al Rehab City project, as well as Al Ahly Club, Platinum Club, Wadi Degla and New Cairo Club. The area is also close to Marina Way Lagoon, the new Administrative Capital, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Residential Complex, Assistant Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities Authority, Walid Abbas said.
The second area, on the other hand, is directly linked to the Middle Ring Road and is near the Cairo-Suez Desert Road. It is also close to Mountain View’s iCity Project and the Helio Park Residence project. It is also close to the new administrative capital, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Residential Complex and Madinaty, Abbas added.
As for Area 3, it is directly linked to the Middle Ring Road, near Mohammed Bin Zayed Axis Road. It is also close to Madinaty, the new administrative capital, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Residential Complex, and Al Mostakbal City project, he continued.
Area 4 overlooks the Middle Ring Road and Mohammed Bin Zayed Axis Road. It is also close to the new administrative capital and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Residential Complex, while overlooking Al Ahly Club, Platinum Club, Wadi Degla and New Cairo Clubs. It also lies close to Layan and MArina Way Lagoon projects, Abbas said.
Area 5 is directly linked to the Middle Ring Road and is close to Mohammed Bin Zayed Axis Road, Cornerstone project and Dar Misr middle-income housing project. The area is also close to Kattameya Gardens project by North Africa Company for Real Estate Investment and Kattameya Dunes project, Abbas said.
Area 6 is divided into two sites, where site A is directly connected to the Middle Ring Road, near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Axis Road and is adjacent to iCity project and Helio Park Residence project. It is also close to Madinaty and Mostakbal City project. Site B is also linked to the Middle Ring Road while overlooking Road 90. It is near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Axis Road and is adjacent to Marina Way Lagoon project and the club area, while being near Layan project.
The Ministry of Housing had offered its biggest land tender to date for residential plots in March 2016 to include, offering a total of 21,398 plots, which saw a high turnout and prompted the ministry to offer 58,869 additional lots.
