The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, signed a letter of intent (LOI) with the Chinese company, CSCEC, to start the implementation of the governmental district in the New Administrative Capital, reported Invest Gate.
The LOI was signed in the presence of Minister of Housing, Mostafa Madbouly, and Chairperson of the Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development, Ayman Ismail, along with other representatives from the company.
“The signing of the LOI is an important step towards launching work on the governmental district, in cooperation with a Chinese company. CSCEC is one of the largest construction companies in the world, which will transfer its vast expertise in construction to the Egyptian market,” said Ismail.
Construction on 18 governmental buildings in the New Capital is scheduled to start soon, said Mohamed Abdul Latif, Managing Director of the New Administrative Capital Company.
