The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development is preparing to launch numerous project in North and South Sinai worth EGP 312 million, announced a press release from the Ministry of Housing.
According to Major General Mohamed Nasser, Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, there will be various construction and pavement of roads to link fishermen’s villages along Lake Albardweel.
About 11 new farms will be opened within the integrated development of the people of Sinai project, at a cost of EGP 43.4 million, in addition to construction of new power supply lines for EGP 9.1 million, according to Albawaba.
Earlier in April, about ten agreements and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) were signed by Sahar Nasr, Minister of International Cooperation, to finance new development projects in the Sinai Peninsula.
The new development projects in the Sinai Peninsula are part of the government’s plan to improve the quality of life for Sinai residents and to help them create new communities.
