MIPIM Postponed to June Due to Coronavirus

MIPIM 2020 property fair, set to take place in Cannes on March 10-13, is pushed to June 2-5 due to the growing concern related to Coronavirus (Covid-19), Invest-Gate reports.

MIPIM operators said that this decision was made “since their priority is the well-being of everyone, who attends MIPIM. We received advice and constructive input from many MIPIM clients, and their feedback was an important consideration for our decision,” according to a press release on February 29.

To be held under the slogan “the Future is Human”, MIPIM 2020 is set to welcome some 26,800 participants, including 6,380 investors and 480 speakers, while gathering the most influential figures from all international property sectors.

Invest-Gate was named as MIPIM 2020 media partner for the second successive year, where Egypt’s Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is set to participate in the event along with ten Egyptian companies, sharing one pavilion and one vision. Developers will include Tatweer Misr, Palm Hills Developments, and Mountain View, to name a few.
