Misr Italia Properties has launched the third edition of the Il BOSCO International Padel Tournament, sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), and the International and Egyptian Padel Federations, Invest-Gate reports.
The tournament will take place from May 22 to 25 at the Il BOSCO Sports Club in Il BOSCO project, located in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
The event was inaugurated by Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the ACUD, and features the participation of 240 local and foreign players. The tournament, held annually in partnership with Egypt JPadel, aims to encourage youth to engage in sports, expand the base of padel players locally and internationally, and enhance the skills and abilities of Egyptian talent.
This year, a new cup has been introduced for juniors, the Il BOSCO International Padel Tournament, with participants in the age group of 14 to 18 years.
The tournament features significant participation from women in Egypt and the Arab world, as well as a university tournament. Countries such as Egypt, England, Italy, Qatar, Spain, Argentina, France, and the UAE are participating, while Chile, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, and Hungary are joining for the first time.
Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the ACUD, emphasized that the NAC has become a destination for investment and important tournaments. He expressed the company’s support for the Il BOSCO International Padel Tournament as a significant event that promotes the NAC and attracts both local and foreign investments.
