Misr Italia Properties (MIP) has signed off on setting up the very first kitesurfing center in Ain Sokhna at its flagship project Kai Sokhna, which is slated for opening in the final quarter of 2020, Invest-Gate reports.

Under the agreement, the new spot, or “FINS,” will be managed by Sherif Soliman and Jennifer Osman, who are pioneers in the Egyptian kitesurfing market and founders of Ras Sudr’s Soul Kitesurfing, MIP recently revealed on its official Facebook page.

In addition, designs of the first-of-its-kind hub were undertaken by renowned architect Karim El Assal, co-founder of Segments Architects, the announcement further noted.

With a 1,000-meter-long stretch of sandy beach, Kai Sokhna is being developed over 147,000 square meters on the Red Sea coast, featuring an array of accommodations from bungalows to a five-star hotel, or “Hilton Ain Sokhna Hotel.”
