MDA Engineering Alliance, comprising Mohamed Talaat Architects, Diaa Consult Engineering Consulting, and Effect Engineering Consultancy, has commenced construction on a new landmark tower in the Fifth Settlement area of East Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

He highlighted that its distinguishing feature is being the inaugural iconic tower outside the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

Describing the design, Talaat mentioned that the new tower will take the shape of a pharaonic obelisk embellished with a pyramid at its entrance. The “Ravel” tower is envisaged to host a variety of activities across its 55 floors, with some units designated for administrative purposes, others for commercial use, and a Panorama restaurant set to grace the tower’s upper levels.

Furthemore, Talaat disclosed that the tower is situated within a central park at the heart of an encompassing urban scheme named “Ravel.” This project encompasses residential, administrative, commercial, and recreational zones, with an internal road network underway to serve the development efficiently.

The expansive scope of the urban project spans 1,355 feddans, strategically positioned amidst the Ring Road, Marshal Mohamed Ali Fahmy Axis, and Marshal Tantawi Axis, in proximity to the “Egypt International Exhibition Center” monorail station.
