Mountain View Sales Skyrocket in H1 2021

Sales of Mountain View, one leading real estate developer, hiked 60% to EGP 7 bn during H1 2021, Invest-Gate reports.

Previously, the company announced EGP 12 bn sales target for 2021. In 2021, Mountain View sold 1,947 units, compared to 844 units sold same time last year. This in turn reflects the company’s expectations for the current year and the real estate market as well as the increased purchasing power simulated by customers’ confidence in the market.

Mountain View’s flagship project “iCity” in New Cairo has been a true testament of a successful Public-Private Partnership, achieving impressive sales of 858 units in H1 2021.

This is the first of its kind project to apply the “Science of Happiness” concept to the entire project’s buildings while providing the highest environmental specifications, including smart solutions to separate car roads from residential places, as well as smart solutions for electricity consumption and infrastructure support.

“We are pleased with what we have accomplished in the first half of the year. This is the result of meticulous planning, innovation and quality, all of which have led us to become true pioneers. We have achieved significant growth rates, leading to 130% sales increase compared to the same period in 2020,” Wael Ezz, CCO of Mountain View, confirms.

“In 2021, an area of 870,000 sqm worth EGP 5.8 bn was contracted. We plan to complete the development over an area of 780,000 sqm within this year, delivering residential buildings between fully-furnished and semi-furnished units, as well as utilities and entertainment facilities, landscape and infrastructure development work worth EGP 4.7 bn,” Tamer Nabil, COO of Mountain View, states.

The company’s expansion plan also targets the development of Heliopark Land in New Cairo, which is being currently assessed from financial and technical aspects.

Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development has launched a request for proposals last April, seeking bidders for the development of the Heliopark project over an area of 1,695 acres in New Cairo, located on Cairo – Suez Road near the New Administrative Capital, comprising six neighborhoods with units expected to house 100,000 residents.
