NAC Hosts Major Developers in Panel Discussion

The New Administrative Capital (NAC) hosts the first-of-its-kind training course in Egypt for real estate marketers, Invest-Gate reports.

The training course was given by the Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute (IERI) and is organized by the TSM Mall Management. The panel discussion included major experts and developers of the real estate sector in Egypt and the UAE to discuss investment opportunities and ways to flourish real estate export.

For his part, Tarek Shoukry, Head of the Real Estate Development Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and Undersecretary of the Housing Committee at the House of Representatives says, “Egyptian real estate is the only sector in the Middle East that witnesses price increase of up to six times on average over the past few years, which reflects the strength of the Egyptian market and the high return on investment.”

Moreover, Mohamed Galal, President and CEO of TSM Mall Management, confirms that the participation of major developers from Egypt and the Arab world in this training course contributed to opening new horizons towards developing an important sector.

Sherif Hamouds, Chairman of GV Investment Group Egypt comments that the depreciation of the local currency against foreign currencies helps attract more investors because of high investment returns.

Besides, Mohamed Taher, Chairman of Nile Real Estate Development, praises the infrastructure development in Egypt, mentioning that the value of Egyptian real estate exports reached around $ 600 mn, which is below the market’s capabilities.

Fathallah Fawzy, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association & Chairman of the Real Estate Development and Contracting Committee notes that Egyptian property is attractive to customers worldwide, in addition, he affirms that the developer should finalize projects’ execution on time to avoid price fluctuations in raw materials.

For her part, Maha Abdel Razek. Managing Director for Finance and Investment at Misr Real Estate Assets Management highlights that the real estate global market witnesses continuous changes and developments, thus, there is a need for such training courses to stay updated.

Additionally, Ahmed Elbatrawy, Founder of Egypt MLS, points out that the company will launch the MLS Egypt platform next September, explaining that Egypt needs an informative structure for the sector.
