The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, arranged a guided tour and exploratory visit to the New Administrative Capital (NAC) for a group of 50 individuals with special needs, Invest-Gate reports.
This initiative reflects President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to support and integrate people of determination, empowering them in society.
The tour is the second of five visits organized by the company as part of the “Differently-Abled” celebration, which aims to raise community awareness regarding the role of individuals with special needs and their integration across all aspects of life.
During the tour, the group visited several significant urban landmarks and mega projects in the NAC, including the government district, People’s Square, the flag-staff area, the Misr Mosque, and the cathedral. People of determination had a unique opportunity to closely explore these landmarks and learn about their capabilities.
Eng. Khaled Abbas, ACUD Chairman and Managing Director, expressed pride in being part of these noble efforts and emphasized the company’s commitment to providing a remarkable experience for people of determination through their visits to their vast urban projects.
He further explained that the company is eager to organize a third and fourth visit, aligning with President El-Sisi’s recommendations.
Abbas added, “We are dedicated to offering a suitable environment and comprehensive facilities that cater to the needs of all segments of society, particularly people of determination and individuals with special needs. We will continue our earnest efforts to promote social solidarity and enhance their integration into society, following President El-Sisi’s directives.”
