Dubai’s real estate developer Nakheel started leasing at the 1.2-mn square foot Nad Al-Sheba Mall in Dubai, Invest-Gate reports.

The new mall comes as part of Nakheel Malls’ AED 16-bn expansion, which will comprise 200 shops, restaurants and entertainment outlets.

Construction of the project is set to start in Q4 of this year, with completion scheduled by mid-2020.

The malls will be within the 2.5 mn square feet Nad Al-Sheba community, which features 1,500 four and five-bedroom homes as well as a clubhouse, swimming pool and sports courts, in addition to a 5 km cycling track – the first in Nakheel’s AED 150 mn plan to bring a 105 km network of bike routes to Dubai.
