Leading UAE real estate developer Nakheel has added 252 rooms to its Al Khalil Avenue project, and has assigned Dhabi Contracting to be in charge of construction, The National reported.

The construction of the retail, dining and entertainment development is scheduled to begin next October, while the construction of  Al Khalil Avenue, which will measure 2 million square meters will be complete at the beginning of 2019.

The hotel will consist of 18 storeys and will be attached to Al Khalil Avenue Mall, providing visitors with access to both the retail and hospitality facilities.

Located near Jumeriah Village Triangle (JVT) community, the Avenue has about 1.2 million square meters of leasable space that also includes a 14-screen cinema and a parking space for 4,000 cars.

The JVT community comprises over 13,000 villas, townhouses and apartments, along with two schools, according to Trade Arabia.
