Nakheel is inking an agreement with prominent MENA retailer Alshaya to launch 25 retail spaces in Nakheel’s Al Khalil Avenue Mall located in Jumeirah Village in Dubai, Invest-Gate reports.

The retail space will spread on 100,000 sq ft and will include 25 brands ranging from fashion and food outlets, according to the company’s released statement.

Al Khalil Avenue mall is currently under construction and will spread on 1.2 mn sq ft containing shopping outlets, dining areas, cinemas, and a 256-room hotel. The mall will be completed in 2018.

Al Khalil Avenue mall is in proximity to residential communities and commercial hubs such as Dubai World Central and JAFZA. The 265-room hotel will to be managed by the Hilton brand.

Nakheel previously developed Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Mall.
