Nakheel seeks to assign contractors construction works for Dubai’s Deira Islands Boulevard, which will accommodate 10,000 people at a total investment cost of AED 5 bn, Trade Arabia reports.
Construction tenders offered this week are expected to include 2,924 apartments and townhouses as part of 16 residential towers. Each tower includes a swimming pool, retail, restaurants, and a recreation space.
Deira Islands portrays Dubai’s tourism vision as it reaches up to 21 floors, with each floor containing two and three-bedroom apartments, 65 townhouses, and ground-level retail facilities.
The project also includes 4,500 podium-level car parking spaces, spreading on 7 mn square feet located in the area previously known as Old Dubai.
Additionally, The Boulevard will include Deira Mall, two hotels, two serviced complexes and two residential units to be offered as separate tenders. The total number of units will reach 36,000 units that Nakheel plans to offer for rent.
