Nawy Shares has obtained official approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) Company Establishment and Licensing Committee to operate in securities promotion and underwriting, as well as real estate investment fund management—marking a major milestone in formalizing the fractional real estate investment model in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
The company extended its appreciation to Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority, for his regulatory vision and role in establishing a comprehensive framework that supports innovation and enhances investor confidence in this emerging sector.
This approval reinforces the pioneering position of Nawy Shares, the first entity to introduce the fractional real estate investment model in Egypt and the first to proactively engage the FRA to build a strong legal framework that protects investors while promoting a more transparent and efficient market.
With this license, Nawy Shares enters a new phase of expansion under full FRA supervision, ensuring the highest standards of governance and strengthening market trust in the model.
The company noted that this decision marks a defining moment—crowning a journey that began as an idea and evolved into an organized model reshaping how Egyptians invest in real estate.
Ayman Magdy, Managing Director of Nawy Shares, stated, “We introduced the fractional real estate investment model from the very beginning, and today we see the idea transforming into an official regulatory framework that changes the rules of investment in Egypt. This approval is a testament to the strength of the model and to the importance of innovation when backed by strong oversight and a clear legislative framework.”
He added, “This license is not just an accreditation but the beginning of a new phase in which we shape the future of digital real estate investment in Egypt.”
Nawy Shares concluded by affirming its continued cooperation with the Financial Regulatory Authority to further develop this model and support the growth of Egypt’s digital real estate investment sector—ensuring investor protection and opening the door to new, well-governed investment tools.
