Mohamed Ragab, head of the New Damietta Development Authority and Supervisor of the New Mansoura City, has assigned officials of the concerned departments to prepare the beach of the New Damietta City to welcome vacationers, Invest-Gate reports.
This comes after the Prime Minister decides to reopen beaches and parks, taking into consideration all precautionary measures to combat the Covid-19 outbreak.
Ragab stresses the follow-up on cleaning, lighting, electricity, and other maintenance works, in addition to providing the beachgoers with all needed services, mentioning that 30 lifeguards and 6 beach gate collectors were contracted for seasonal work during summer.
Furthermore, coordination with the city’s police department and the ambulance authority to perpetrate concentration points and tents to collect lost children, considering all precautionary measures.
The head of the Development Authority appeals to citizens to follow all instructions issued in this regard, to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.
