Head of the New Damietta Development Authority Mohamed Ragab announced the start of receiving requests from citizens and engineering offices to obtain building permits via email,  Invest-Gate reports.

This came as a part of precautionary measures the government has taken to combat coronavirus (COVID-19) and as a part of the authority’s keenness to maintain the safety of the citizens, according to a statement on April 13.

The requests will be reviewed by the authority’s building licenses department, and then it will communicate with beneficiaries via e-mail to set appointments for them to come to the authority’s Technology Center to Serve Citizens to complete the remaining procedures and documents

Moreover, citizens or engineers who want to apply for licenses must submit all the necessary documents via the email address of NewDomyat2020@gmail.com.
