The Egyptian Association for Real Estate Appraisers has presented a new law on real estate appraisal to the House of Representatives for review, according to the Head of the Association Zakaria El Gohary, Al Mal reported on Sunday
The law aims to set clear and straightforward valuation rules that meet international standards, and also aims to organize the sector and its professions.
The Association has previously held a conference with the Federation of Egyptian Industries to discuss the measures needed to be taken, including real estate taxes.
The Association was established in 2005 to help protect and develop the real estate appraisal process in Egypt.
