The New Fayoum City Authority is preparing to offer five service projects in the social housing district in the city, said Ashraf Fathy Abdel Rahman, Head of the Authority, reported Al Borsa News.

The service projects include building a health clinic, a school for primary education, a mosque, and a bus stop, at an estimated cost of EGP 50 million, said Abdel Rahman.

The new plan for the current fiscal year registered EGP 355 million, and is expected to increase by another EGP 50 million if new projects are to be implemented.

New Fayoum City was constructed following the Presidential Decree No. 193 of the year 2000, and is located 100 kilometers south of Cairo, and 15 kilometers away from Fayoum city.
