New developments will take place in Sheikh Zayed city, on the outskirts of Cairo in preparation for new land offerings to investors and construction of housing projects, Invest-Gate reports.

This comes as part of a plan drawn up by Egypt’s Ministry of Housing to enhance infrastructure projects in cities such as 6th of October City, New Cairo, and Obour.

“Approximately 10 axises and roads should be developed soon in New Cairo. Obour will also witness infrastructure enhancements alongside development of Dahshur axis and Juhayna Square among others,” says Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.

Madbouly urges contractors to double their progress in developing projects in New Alamein City, villas in the new Administrative Capital, and touristic areas in New Aswan.

New social housing units and middle-income units will also be offered in Nasser City in west Assiut governorate and west Qena, according to a released statement.
