Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar has revealed that about 11,232 units are 70% completed in JANNA luxury housing project in New Mansoura, Invest-Gate reports.

In addition, 4,704 apartments are 80% finished in the new city’s Sakan Misr medium-income project, whilst 58 coastal-style buildings are 20% done, El Gazzar confirmed in a ministerial statement on November 20.

New Mansoura is also witnessing the construction of 1,149 villas in the villas area, which comprises a total of 2,103 units varying between standalone villas, townhouses, and duplexes. The villas’ implementation rate of modern villas reached 40%, while the classical ones are 32% finalized, the minister further noted.

For his part, Head of New Damietta Development Authority and Supervisor of New Mansoura Mohamed Ragab noted that a number of utility projects are being carried out in the new city, including water, sewage, and road networks. Besides, several service projects are underway, notably two basic-education schools, a medical center, and eight commercial centers.
