New Mansoura sees about 11,232 residential units, within 468 buildings, 50% completed in JANNA luxury housing project, while 4,704 apartments are 80% finished in the city’s Sakan Misr medium-income project, Invest-Gate reports.

Besides, merely 1,149 villas, comprising 2,103 units that vary between standalone villas, townhouses, and duplexes, are being executed in the city’s villas area. The implementation rate of modern villas reached 35%, while the classical ones are 20% finalized, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development Assem El Gazzar revealed in an official statement on August 4.

Also, 58 coastal buildings, encompassing 1,392 housing units, are 17% done. El Gazzar added that a number of multi-utility projects are underway, including potable water networks that hit a completion rate of 20%, while sewage and road networks are 52% and 30% finished, respectively.

Moreover, the 800-meter eastern edge of New Mansoura’s promenade, or Corniche, is in the last stages of finalization. Whilst the western side, which is 1.4 kilometers long, is 48% developed, El Gazzar stated, noting that the seafront walkway will boast an array of restaurants, playgrounds, bicycle tracks, pergolas, and reading areas.

This comes on top of building multiple service projects, namely the establishment of two basic education schools that are 8-12% done, in addition to eight commercial markets and a medical center that marked implementation rates of 44% and 20%, separately.
