The 15th edition of the Nile Property Expo opened on Monday, 26 May 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Invest-Gate reports.
The event marks Egypt’s renewed presence in the Qatari real estate market.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry; Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer, Chairman of Qatar’s Public Works Authority; and Egyptian Ambassador to Qatar Amr El Sherbiny.
The expo, which runs through Thursday, 29 May, hosts top Egyptian real estate developers, including Tatweer Misr, Ora, SODIC, Hyde Park, City Edge, Saudi Egyptian Developers, Cornerstone, CRED, Al Marasem, Al Burouj Misr, Inertia, Mansat, Horizon, US Developments, and Main Marks.
Participating companies reported strong turnout from the early hours of the opening day, with serious buying interest from both Qatari nationals and Egyptian expatriates in Qatar. Attendees expressed a notable interest in residential projects in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and the North Coast.
Dr. Bassem Kalila, Chairman of Expo Republic—the event’s organizer—stated that Qatari clients are showing growing interest in owning property in Egypt. He added that developers are optimistic about achieving strong sales during the exhibition.
Kalila also highlighted competitive offerings, including zero down payment plans and instalments over 10, 12, and even 15 years.
Over the past eight years, Nile Property Expo has gained the trust of buyers across the Arab region.
