The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) allocates 33 land plots in 14 new cities for various activities as part of the authority’s efforts to increase development rates, accelerate investment in new cities, and provide job opportunities, Invest-Gate reports.
At the virtual meeting, Minister of Housing Assem El Gazzar reveals that the allocations are across many cities, namely the following cities:
New Cairo- seven plots with an area of 124,540 sqm for the establishment of an integrated urban project (commercial, administrative, and residential facilities), and a bank
10th of Ramadan City- an 4.86 acre- land for agricultural use
6th October City- four land plots with an area of 175,059 sqm for residential, commercial, administrative projects, a hotel, and entertainment
Badr City- two land plots of 2,598 sqm for commercial and administrative projects
Sadat City- three land plots of 15,080 sqm for a factory, vehicle service center, and commercial project
El Shorouk City- a land plot of 945 sqm for a nursery
New Obour City- two land plots of 8,278 sqm for a school, and commercial, administrative, residential projects
New Sohag City- a plot of 16 acres has been allocated to establish an integrated urban project
New Damietta City- two land plots of 46,912 sqm an integrated urban project, and a vehicle service and spare parts supply center
New Borg El Arab City- two land plots of 2,636 sqm for a medical center
