NUCA Approves Payment Facilities for Overdue Financial Dues on Units, Shops, Plots, and Villas

The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), in a meeting chaired by Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, agreed to grant facilities for paying late financial dues on residential, administrative, and professional units, commercial stores, plots of land of various types and sizes (residential, commercial, service, investment, industrial, etc.), villas, and beach units established by the NUCA, Invest-Gate reports.

This initiative involves exempting 70% of the value of late payment fines on the installments due upon full payment of late dues for a period of one month from the date of announcement in daily newspapers.

El Sherbini explained that these facilities apply in the following cases: those that are currently allocated and those for which cancellation decisions have been issued due to non-payment of financial dues but are still in the possession of the client and have not been withdrawn by the competent authority.

These facilities are subject to the following conditions: adherence to the specified implementation timelines and the waiver of all lawsuits filed against NUCA or the relevant authorities.

Additionally, these facilities do not apply to lands allocated under the partnership system, nor to lands that have been canceled and withdrawn and are now in the possession of NUCA, nor to amounts due for completing the value of advance payments.
