Walid Abbas, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), convened a meeting of the investment management and support unit, following the directives of Minister of Housing Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar, Invest-Gate reports.
Abbas tasked officials with developing investment plans and securing funding sources, especially permanent funds ensuring development sustainability.
He also requested the preparation of brochures on each city’s opportunities integrated with development plans and meeting residents’ needs to export with highlights attracting more investors and advancing development.
NUCA’s Deputy Chairman emphasized monitoring project progress and collecting land dues to accelerate development rates.
He also gave directives for the calculation of the inventory of NUCA’s vacant residential units.
At the meeting’s close, Abbas addressed officials’ inquiries, urging more efforts to attract investment, highlighting available opportunities and working innovatively to find permanent financing to ensure new cities’ sustainable development.
