NUCA Extends Deadline to Submit Applications for Lands in New Sphinx City

Tarek El Sebai, deputy chairman of New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, said that the submission period for applications of those who already hold sale contracts or land ownership documents for plots within the new Sphinx City boundaries have been extended to November 29, Invest-Gate reports.

Applications for the new Sphinx shall be submitted to the Sheikh Zayed City Authority. Landowners should fill in a form, which is disbursed for free at the authority’s headquarters, in addition to submitting all documents proving the land ownership (original and copy), El Sebai said in an official statement on November 12.

He noted that documents must be certified and stamped by the Egyptian General Survey Authority.

In March, the Egyptian government ordered the reallocation of 31,952.90 acres of state-owned land area on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, in favor of NUCA, to be used for the establishment of a new urban community – new Sphinx City.
