Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the Development and Urbanization Sector, Abdul Muttalib Mamdouh, directs for upgrading of the public transport services in new cities during 2023, Invest-Gate reports.

Head of the Central Administration of Development at NUCA, Eman Kamil, notes that the new year plan supports electronic governance of means of transport in new cities.

Currently, a geographic database is being created based on a huge amount of data, Kamil adds.

She notes that an integrated electronic system is set to be launched, including services like e-payment, e-monitoring, WIFI, and GPS.

A meeting held at the public transport organization unit in NUCA concludes with a set of recommendations for the 2023 work plan, including developing roads, garages, vehicles, and stations.
