NUCA to Complete Utility, Infrastructure Work for 30,000 Acres by 2017

The New Urban and Communities Authority (NUCA) is scheduled to complete infrastructure and utilities for 30,000 acres by the end of 2017, reported Al Borsa News.

The total cost of the infrastructure is EGP 14 billion, to be implemented over 21 cities, reported Amwal Al Ghad.

NUCA has launched public tenders for the 30,000 acres as part of its development plan for the current fiscal year.  Approximately 65% of the tenders have been awarded so far with, the remaining tenders to be assigned in the upcoming months.

NUCA’s budget for the current fiscal year is EGP 37 billion, of which EGP 20 billion are earmarked for the Dar Misr Social Housing Project.
