NUCA to Soon Offer More Housing Units, Lands in New Cities

The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will soon offer additional lands and residential units in various new cities as well as Sakan Misr for middle-class housing, in order to meet demands of the distinct segments seeking to invest or reside in these areas, Invest-Gate reports.

Currently, NUCA is preparing to extend about 2,300 housing units, with varying modules, including properties in New Alamein’s Downtown area and Sakan Misr project, in addition to several apartments and villas in the New Administrative Capital’s (NAC) R3 residential district, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar revealed in an official statement on June 12.

The announcement came during a meeting held in the attendance of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and other ministerial officials, where El Gazzar added that the authority intends to offer more units in Sakan Misr project at Shorouk and New Damietta cities, according to the statement.

Furthermore, over 700 housing plots are set to soon be put up for citizens, in addition to 251 service lands that will include gas stations, industrial services, amongst others. Also, NUCA will launch 15 plots in a number of new cities, dedicated to integrated urban activities, the housing minister noted.

For his part, Madbouly called on the officials to offer these units and plots for reservation as soon as possible, which will essentially contribute to enhancing development works undertaken at the various new cities.
