The government is working on a number of service and development projects in Obour City, Invest-Gate reports.
The Housing Ministry completed 2,968 housing units, while working on another 25,056 units.
“A number of water and sewage projects are carried out in the city, some of which are in the final stage of completion,” says Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly.
Two projects related to plummeting of groundwater levels are being implemented in Obour’s El Tabba and the 6th District with total investments of AED 8 mn and AED 10 mn.
Another project aimed at strengthening the sewage network is carried out in Northern Extensions of Obour’s Industrial Zone, with investments worth AED 5.7 mn.
The ministry is also implementing a EGP-18.45-mn project concerned with providing facilities for middle-class housing in Obour’s Entertainment District.
