Ökoplan to Develop Master Plan of 700-Acre Project in New Alamein

Egypt-based Ökoplan Engineering Consultations is planning to develop the master plan of a new 700-acre plot of land owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) in New Alamein, Invest-Gate reports.

The land will be allocated for a residential district that will include villas, buildings, administrative offices, and services areas, Mohammad Tamer El-Khorazaty, head of Oekoplan Engineering Consultations, exclusively told Invest-Gate.

“Regarding the development of NAC’s master plan, we aim to the development of a new city that will be a symbol of Egypt to accommodate 6 mn people. It includes 12 residential neighborhoods, with each one considered an independent city in terms of designs and services for its citizens,” El-Khorazaty pointed out.

“The average number of citizens in each residential neighborhood is between 350,000 and 500,000 people. Moreover, each residential neighborhood is connected to sophisticated roads networks,” he noted.

Oekoplan’s office is operating in the Egyptian market for nearly 30 years and has about 300 employees. The company started developing projects for individuals, afterward, the office started developing projects for real estate companies, embarking on planning and designing urban projects with varying sizes.
