New Urban Communities Authority Communities’ (NUCA) Vice President Kamal Bahgat has followed up on the progress of ongoing projects in October Gardens, west Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
Bahgat further inspected the new city’s social housing projects, while also reviewing the completion of the remaining residential units, the quality of services provided in the area, as well as, the development of the square opposite the “266 Building” project, which links the city with the Ring Road, according to a ministerial statement on September 29.
Besides, the official praised the continuous efforts to finalize this national project, the periodic follow-up of the city authority and other officials, stressing the need to finalize such developments on their specified dates, in a bid to hand over these homes to the citizens at the best standards.
Last year, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar had announced the completion and delivery of 25,440 social housing units in October Gardens, with 51,968 more in the pipeline, according to a previous statement.
