Housing officials inspects work progress of New Nasser City in West Assiut governorate, following up the progress of Sakan Misr and Housing for All Egyptians projects, Invest -Gate reports.
According to a recent ministerial statement, Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects, Khaled Abbas, and Abdel Muttalib Mamdouh, vice-president of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the Development and Urban Development Sector, along with a group of officials inspect a number of housing projects in the New Nasser City.
Furthermore, the ministerial statement highlights that the Ministry of Housing has implemented 2,640 units in the “Sakan Misr” project, adding that the ministry has offered 1,584 units in the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” for low-income citizens. Besides, more than 3,500 citizens have already submitted their reservations.
Moreover, a 35 acres-water purification plant is underway, with a total capacity of 125,000 sqm/ day, in addition to a New Nasser power transformer station with a capacity of 66 KV.
It’s worth mentioning that the New Nasser city’s services include a commercial market, eight shops, health unit, nursery, and a school consisting of 33 classrooms for basic education, in addition a police station, and a firefighting unit.
