Oman is offering 33 land plots to investors for the development of tourism projects, reported Reuters Zawya on Monday, citing local Al-Watan newspaper.
The sultanate’s Housing Ministry has signed five contracts with investors for resort, hotel and restaurant projects in an effort to diversify the country’s economy.
The projects include a large complex in Bawshar governorate, a shopping mall and hotel in the nearby port of Seeb as well as another hotel in Alamerat governorate and an apartment hotel in the southern port of Salalah. More projects will be conducted throughout several other governorates and towns.
