Oman’s Minister of Housing Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, has toured Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, after attending the laying of the foundation stone of the Central Business District, Invest-Gate reports.
The minister was accompanied by Vice-Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) Engineer Abdul-Mutallab Mamdouh, Deputy Chairman of NUCA Engineer Alaa Abdul Aziz, and Chairman of the New Administrative Capital Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud.
Mohammed Al Shabibi is heading a large delegation to Egypt, in the framework of joint cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Housing.
Mamdouh said that a tour was held for the minister and his accompanying delegation in the R3 residential area that comprises 25,000 housing units, which is executed under the supervision of Egypt’s Ministry of Housing. The tour also included the government zone, which includes the ministries’ buildings.
Mohammed Al Shabibi and his delegation are also scheduled to visit NUCA and the cities of 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed during their visit, as well as the Urban Planning Authority and New Cairo city.
