Egyptian Minister of Housing, Sherif El Sherbini, met with his Sudanese counterpart, Salah Hamid Ismail, to present Egypt’s urban development experience and explore opportunities for collaboration between their ministries, Invest-Gate reports.
During the meeting, Eng. Sherif El Sherbini emphasized Egypt’s commitment to providing technical support to Sudan’s Ministry of Urban Development, Roads, and Bridges. He expressed readiness to share valuable expertise gained from Egypt’s pioneering urban development efforts under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s administration.
Additionally, the Minister highlighted that both private and public sector construction companies in Egypt possess extensive experience in executing various urban development projects. This includes expertise in producing different building materials, as well as having highly skilled personnel and advanced machinery. As a result, these companies are well-equipped to undertake projects beyond Egypt’s borders, particularly in collaboration with fellow Arab and African nations.
