Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who is also the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development, has announced that the first stage of online reservation for the New Administrative Capital’s units started from Wednesday, July 17, on http://www.hdb-reservation.com/, Invest-Gate reports.
The first stage will be just registration and will end on July 31, while the actual reservation will start from August 12 to 18 through the same link.
The ministry will offer 2,048 apartments through the website varied between 110 and 180 square meters.
“This is the first offering for residential units in the R3 compound that is managed by the Housing Ministry, and all units will be delivered in one year,” Madbouly, who is also has revealed.
Madbouly has said that there will be no lottery and all the process will be online to align with the government’s strategy that encourages financial inclusion, adding that the units’ allocation will on a first-come, first-served basis.
Khaled Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects, has said that after uploading the needed documents and choosing the unit, the applicant has to pay EGP 100,000 to show seriousness and confirmation will be sent via SMS within 48 hours after payment.
