Ora Developers Egypt has unveiled a special edition of ‘Ora Empowers’ to coincide with the 2024 Olympics, focusing on youth empowerment in sports, education, and personal development across Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
The initiative provides financial sponsorship, mentorship programs, and extensive opportunities to foster inclusive environments, connect with communities, and help individuals realize their full potential.
This edition represents a significant expansion of Ora’s commitment, specifically targeting support for Egyptian athletes preparing for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The initiative will provide financial sponsorship to assist 10 athletes, eight competing in the Olympics and two in the Paralympics, across eight different sports. These athletes will receive aid in their quest for gold at the Olympic Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024, in France.
Recognizing the crucial role of supporters in an athlete’s journey, ‘Ora Empowers’ also plans to send fans to the Olympics, thereby fostering a strong support system for the athletes competing on the global stage.
Moreover, Haitham Abdel Azim, CEO of Ora Developers Egypt, stated, “By investing in Egypt’s youth, Ora Developers Egypt aims to cultivate empowered leaders who contribute positively to their communities and beyond. Ora Empowers is a testament to our commitment to helping Egyptian youth achieve their dreams and excel, especially by supporting athletes to succeed globally, particularly in the 2024 Olympics.”
Furthermore, launched in early 2024, ‘Ora Empowers’ collaborates with NGOs and community organizations to expand developmental opportunities across Egypt.
Partnering with educational institutions, the initiative offers workshops, career guidance, and networking opportunities to equip young individuals with the tools needed to excel in sports and careers.
In addition to providing internships, entrepreneurial opportunities, and scholarships, Ora Empowers collaborates with the Sawiris Foundation to uplift underprivileged children through coaching and life skills programs. The initiative also supports the Egyptian national team in AFCON and World Cup qualifiers.
